Fields of qualification
Fields of qualification are likely to have some relationship to current occupation, but this is not necessarily the case. A number of factors might influence the field of qualification, such as:
- the age of the population;
- aspirations to enter a particular industry or profession;
- availability of jobs within fields; and
- types of occupational fields which are available in an area or industry.
This data is for the population over 15 years of age.
